Apr 22,  · That 6th-string, 5th-fret A minor pentatonic scale is also a C major pentatonic scale. The notes are the same, therefore, the pattern is the same. The only difference is the root (in red), the starting note. Let’s compare the notes of the C major pentatonic and A minor pentatonic scales, respectively: C Major: C–D–E–G–A.
